Founder of ReadSprout Academy | Teacher | Author | Entrepreneur
Joana Ogbodu is a passionate Ghanaian educator, literacy advocate, and entrepreneur with over a decade of experience transforming the lives of young learners through the power of reading. As a dedicated primary school teacher, she has empowered hundreds of children with foundational skills that go beyond the classroom.
Joana is the visionary behind ReadSprout Academy, a vibrant literacy brand designed to help parents teach their children how to read confidently in just three months. Through her step-by-step eBook, worksheets, mini-books, and playful learning tools, she is equipping families across Africa with simple, effective methods to boost early reading skills at home.
Beyond teaching, Joana is a multi-passionate creative and the author of From Rags to Riches, her soon to be released inspiring story of resilience and hope. She also runs several small businesses focused on children’s products,
Joana’s mission is simple: to uplift children, support parents, and build a legacy of literacy, confidence, and entrepreneurship in every home she touches
She is Married to Mr. Michael Ogbodu and has two beautiful girls
